Todd Beetcher , CEO
Mr. Beetcher brings 15 years of Consumer Electronics experience to BOCS with five major product launches and multiple successful storage products in the market. Beetcher has held management positions in marketing and business development at Cyrix, National Semiconductor and Merinta. Beetcher was part of the management team that raised $144M in Netpliance's 2000 IPO, and as an early executive at Cornice helped grow revenue from $0 to over $50M in a three year period. Mr. Beetcher has developed extensive relationships in the personal computing and consumer electronics sectors.
Curt Bruner, CTO
Mr. Bruner was named a Technology Pioneer of the Year at the 2005 World Economic Forum in Davos and has authored over 30 patents. Bruner founded Intersect Technologies, a storage architecture company, and subsequently sold to Texas Instruments. Bruner then founded Cornice, a small form-factor hard-drive company and as CTO grew it to over $100M in revenue. With extensive silicon and systems experience, Bruner leads the architecture and technical roadmap for BOCS.
Mr. Feller has executive management experience in both the wireless networking and storage industries. Having built Harris's wireless LAN business from $0 to $250M in four years as Director of Marketing and Product Line Director, Feller was part of the executive team that lead the LBO of the division that became Intersil, successfully completed Intersil's $641M IPO and sold the wireless division to Globespan Virata for $365M. Mr. Feller also served as VP of Marketing and General Manager for Cornice where he launched three new hard drives and helped raise $97 million in venture financing. He has launched numerous silicon, retail and storage systems.
Lance Carlson, Chief Engineer
Mr. Carlson has broad experience in embedded systems and data storage. He helped create and bring to market the world?s first low-cost miniature embedded disk drive for portable consumer electronic devices and has worked extensively with many CE companies to bring their first disk drive products to market (such as the world's first hard-disk mobile phone from Samsung). Lance holds over 20 issued patents related to embedded systems, ICs, and data storage. His background includes product research development and design, manufacturing technology, consulting, and management with companies such as Adaptec, ST Microelectronics, Cornice, and Maxtor.
